Ambulances Are Ideal For Van Life!

There are many advantages to converting a retired ambulance into an RV! The safety, the size, the cost, the skills you learn along the way, and the amazing results anyone can achieve. You can use them as is with minimal mods, or you can make them fully custom inside and out. The sky is the limit and for less than you would think. In my session(s) I will explain the basics, show you my converted ambo, and answer your questions.

Gene Sherman

I am a lifelong maker, entrepreneur, teacher, and public speaker. I was born in the Ukraine and immigrated with my family to America in 1977. From Erector sets and making plastic models as a child, to becoming a machinist/tool-maker by age 21, I have always loved making things. In my twenties I taught hundreds of manufacturing company employees in the use of the latest technology. In my 30's I worked at a university and started a robotic vehicle company. In 2011, I founded a unique trade school / makerspace hybrid that taught dozens of hands-on skills. Unfortunately, in March 2020, COVID-19 shut down our school. Today I am a product design teacher at a local high school, working on DIY projects, writing books, and (soon) starting a YouTube channel to teach maker skills.
