Meet the Speaker.

Hi, I'm Kristen, the main voice behind Wild Family Van! I share all about our van adventures, how we fit 6 people and 2 big dogs in a 144 Sprinter van, and why we chose to prioritize travel as a family. We traveled full-time a few years ago, which inspired us to get a van! During the weekdays, you'll find us at our home base in Southern California, homeschooling and getting involved in our community. And our weekends are reserved for traveling and spending time together as a family. We would love to travel full-time again someday, but we cherish this stage of life and are very happy we could find a balance between home life and travel.

As I was building out our van, I searched for any kind of help for a family van set up. There was little to go off of, mainly families with little kids. So coming up with the best way to travel in a van with older kids like us was all trial and error. It wasn't easy to figure out, but the traveling we're able to do made it all worth it.

We firmly believe that vanlife is possible for any size family at any age. Through the 3 years that we've had our van, we've been stopped countless times by other families wanting to see how we all fit inside. They all wanted to know who built our setup, which made me start sharing my experience with building it out and traveling with a large family.

We hope that by sharing our experience, more families will have the confidence to get out there in a van like we do!
