Michael Andersen

After more than 20 years in Corporate Event planning, I took a leap of faith in 2019 and purchased a Shuttle Bus. Over a year, I transformed it into a Tiny Home on Wheels, embarking on a thrilling project. After a couple of memorable road trips, my girlfriend and I realized we needed more space to accommodate our adventurous lifestyle. That led us to purchase a used Class A RV, launching yet another rehab project. While this time it was mostly cosmetic, we also added solar panels, a diesel heater, and other essential features.

During our months on the road, I recognized a gap in the market—there was no single platform dedicated to finding events while traveling. Combining my event planning expertise with my passion for web design, I set out to create the first-ever event listing website catering to fellow travelers, thus TravelingGatherings.com was born. This venture allowed me to blend my skills and interests seamlessly.

Presently, my girlfriend, our beloved furbaby, Bruce Lee the Pug, and I live and travel full-time in our trusty Class A RV. We are continuously exploring new horizons and have no intention of slowing down anytime soon, although the conveniences of onsite laundry and endless hot water would undoubtedly be a welcome addition to our nomadic lifestyle.
