Peter is an entrepreneur and a passionate advocate for remote work. He currently wears two hats: Founder & Owner of Basecamp Trekker Van, a campervan rental company, and Co-Founder & Partner at Unrestrained Living, a tiny home company. His journey started back in 2017, merging nomadic van life lifestyle with a corporate career.
Peter's journey began in an overland Subaru Forester, with a need for change. He was going through multiple major life events and he wanted to dispel the myth that life on the road does not mean sacrificing a professional career. When he met his now fiancé, they transitioned to an unbuilt campervan. They adapted to the challenges and rewards of remote work within the confines of a compact mobile space. After a year of living and working on the road, they built their dream campervan.
But Peter's story isn't just about remote work; it's also about pursuing entrepreneurial dreams. Following years of spearheading global operational excellence and program management, he made the leap from the corporate world to entrepreneurship. Today, as the Founder of Basecamp Trekker Van, he empowers others to unlock the potential of van life through campervan rentals. Since launching, he has received accolades, including the coveted "Most 5-Star Experience" award. As a Co-Founder & Partner at Unrestrained Living, he ventures into the world of tiny living, offering solutions from ADU construction to cottage cluster living.
