Van Life – A Chance To Listen To My Own Voice

Heya, my name is Serenity I'm an avid traveler who absolutely adores this planet, exploring it and caring for it 🌍🤍
After going through a divorce, a mental health pitfall, seasonal depression, and healing some broken bones, I decided it was time to see the world.

I healed the broken bones, went to therapy, finalized my divorce, and knew it was time for the next phase in my life!

You can find me on…

However, I quickly realized that I've lived with a family, a partner, friends, and even housemates. But I had never lived by myself, so the idea of living in a van was born.

Anyone that knows me, knows that once I'm set on doing something, I'm all in!!

So, I found one on Craigslist, absolutely loved it, and brought it to the apartment I was staying at. My housemates looked at me like I was crazy. I smiled, and said, "It's okay, you don't see my vision."

Fatefully, after whimsically deciding to go to Vegas, with my housemates, I sprained my ankle. I still didn't stop working on the van, I just worked around my injury. I was determined.

About 4 months later, I healed, the van was done and I was ready to go! I said all my goodbyes and hit the road.

Unfortunately, after driving 40 minutes, my van decides not to start anymore. So, two weeks and $4,000 later, I'm back on the road again and had a restart to the start of van life.

I've had my van for about a total of 8 months now, and have been living in it for about 4.

I've had some amazing clarity while living in a van.
